Legal cashier

Our client a leading law firm specialising in property law, have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their expanding accounts department .

Duties
• To provide accounts / administration support to the accounts department
• To assist in the administration of the Sales ledger , Purchase ledger, Nominal ledger
• Undertaking daily banking functions including bank reconciliation for Client and Office accounts
• Preparation of cheques
• Assist in the administration and reconciliation of petty cash
• Preparation of cheques
• Administration and processing of online bank transactions, including Telegraphic Transfers, Faster Payments
• Posting HM Land Registry , search fees, and court fees to the relevant ledgers
• General administrative duties

Skills and Experience
Legal Cashier experience or working experience in a similar law firm environment
• Good IT skills , Word, Excel , knowledge of CLC accounting rules would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage and prioritise your own workload
