Employment Law Legal Assistant FTC

My client is recruiting for an experience Employment Law Legal Assistant on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract to cover a Maternity Leave. You will be a great team player, willing to go the extra mile you will be supporting an individual lawyer and wider team.

The Role

• You will provide full secretarial support to an individual lawyer and wider team
• Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to Employment Law matters
• Diary management
• Assistance with File maintenance and client accounts is most critical function
• Assisting with Employment Law matters including HR issues, Grievance, Disciplinary ,Redundancy, Corporate re- structuring and TUPE agreements
• Attending to clients
• Liaising with Solicitors, Barristers and courts
• Preparation of correspondence and complex legal documents
• Bill preparation
• Proof read legal documents
• Manage marketing data and liaising with the marketing team

The Candidate
• Ideally you will possess recent Employment Law Legal experience, although other areas of law will also be considered
• A good standard of education at least O Level / GCSE
• Fast and accurate typing skills including digital audio systems
• Experience with case management systems
• Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook
• Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic ear
• You will be a strong team player
• Good attention to detail
• Organised and able to priorities your workload
