Private Client Legal Secretary

JS Legal Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to work on a full-time basis for a solicitor’s based in Billericay. The position has a varied role covering Wills, Probates, LPAs, Estate Accounts.

As a Private Client Legal Secretary you will provide secretarial support to a Private Client Solicitor.

The Role
• You will provide full secretarial support to a Solicitor
• Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to private client maters
• Diary management
• Meeting with clients to witness execution of client’s wills/documents
• Wills- Typing and managing documentation
• Probates – assisting with correspondence , documentation
• LPAs- preparing forms, liaising with clients, and maintain records
• Front office reception duties meeting and greeting clients , booking appointments managing incoming / outgoing post
• Typing letters, forms, LPAs, and court of protection applications
• Maintaining and updating client records and databases
• Managing diaries, arranging appointments

Skills and Experience
• Previous Private Client Secretarial experience essential
• Accurate typing skills including digital audio systems
• Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook
• Confident and professional in dealing with clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Pleasant working environment
• Hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
